In the morning before school Ty likes to stretch out and do his exercises. He is working on big muscles as he often tells me. This could be a new form of "Ty-Bo".
A rare glimpse of Ty at school with some of his friends. Here they are all working on making some holiday ornaments. But giving small kids glitter pens is not always a good idea. That stuff gets all over EVERYTHING.
Ty had lots of fun visiting with his cousin Swann up in NYC. It is so great that they are only a few months apart in age. He seems to be giving me the look that says he has had enough pictures taken (at the time there were 3 cameras firing off since we don't get the kids together that often)
Here's Ty in the backyard of his grandparents' house up in CT. We had fun throwing acorns into the river below. Here Ty proudly shows off a stick he found as we proceeded to duel. By now this scene in the backyard is probably blanketed in snow.
Here is Westport's newest member of the volunteer fire department. On our trip up to CT, we went over to the Coleytown firehouse which is down the street from the house I grew up in. The fire house hasn't changed much in those 30+ years. Back when I was this age, my Poppy took me there also to see the engines. The circle of life.
Apple may have wowed the media this week with it's new iphone, but Ty is perfectly happy using his L-phone (that's L for Lightning as in McQueen). He can often be seen calling Lightning to make sure he gets to the big race on time.
On our visit to see G-pop over Thanksgiving, Ty worked on his architectural vision of the future with some Lego's. G-pop is seen offering the structural engineering advice, but Ty is too focused on his own aesthetic. Either way, its nice to have some grandson bonding.
Happy 2007 to y'all. No national title game this year for the Horns, but we managed to salvage the season winning the Alamo Bowl the other night. Ty is all decked out in burnt orange courtesy of his grandparents.
