Ty-ger Woods

We played a round of mini golf in Scottsdale with Gram and G-Pop. Proof that a low handicap in real golf (G-Pop) doesn't really help you all that much, Ty managed to get a few holes-in-one. It was scorching hot or else he was ready for another round to show off his skills.

Self Portrait

Dad got a new all-in-one printer/scanner today. I decided to show Ty how the scanner worked and he drew a picture.

He explained to me this was a self-portrait wearing a wizard hat with tall grass and big waves . It was also a sunny day.

He signed it, Dad dated it. How cool is that? He was also blown away that we got this on the screen so fast.

Water Wall

While wandering around the shops at Desert Ridge, we came across this cool wall of water. Ty is also in a phase where if he sees a fountain, I must immediately produce some coins for him to toss in. He doesn't make a wish, he just likes to throw them and watch them plop. One time he shanked his throw (golf term, but best description I could think of) and hit a kid standing nearby. The other kid (now you can't make this up) actually came over and gave the coin back to Ty so he could have a do-over. Nice.

Pocket Protector

It didn't take long for Ty to get in the habit of putting his hands in his pockets. I guess it is a guy thing.

Stone in Love

Ty and I had about an hour to wander around this upscale shopping park in Scottsdale while Gram and G-Pop did some grooming. In the center of all the stores was a pretty waterfall and some stone statues of lions or panthers or some exotic cat we couldn't decide. We called it the jungle. Ty hopped up on the back of this stone cat. Sort of like he did back on the cows last year. Hooray for stone animals!

Baseball Cards

Saturday morning @ 8:30am and where would you like to be? Well if the answer is laying in bed, then you don't have a 4 year old in t-ball. Ty hadn't played a game in almost a month due to illnesses, spring break and bye weeks. But he was raring to go this morning and played really well. He got to bat twice and connected well both times. Here is a shot in his uniform that could be a baseball card if you print and cut it out. Autograph sessions can be arranged through his agent (me).

Water Baby

In order to get this photo, Dad was in the pool with the camera. It looks a little like those Sports Illustrated profile pictures of Olympic Swimmers. Maybe Ty is headed to the summer games of 2020?

Never Be Late!

Leave it to Google to come up with this new feature: custom time!

Hopefully the link will stay live for awhile. I started reading this and said wow cool! You can back date email. And then I thought... April 1st. April Fools's Day.

Enjoy!

TeePee MonKee

After 200+ posts sometimes my clever titles get a little weird. But back in Scottsdale my parents took us to a cool kid's clothing store. Inside the store they had a bike which Ty rode around while we all discussed which outfits we should get him. Once we checked out, we noticed he did not seem to be around, but knew he had not left the store. Sure enough in the center of the store was a Teepee. Ty was laying down comfortably using a giant stuffed monkey as a pillow. I took a cute shot of that, but this one turned out better when he sat up.

Scottsdale Pose

We had fabulous weather for the few days we spent in AZ with my folks. Wandering around the grounds at the Four Seasons, Ty struck this pose with no coaching from me. Is there a catalog model in this kid already?
