During the several miles of walking around the San Diego Zoo, we discovered some amazing exhibits. In this one, you walked around a lagoon where you might glimpse the hippo from above. If you walk below the rocks it takes you to a cave with a large window and you can see the underwater world of the hippo. Ty wasn't so sure about getting that close to the animal so I had about 5 seconds to snap the picture before he wanted to walk away. Seems the hippo also got a twinkle in his eye from seeing Ty (or from my flash).
